CITAZIONE (sisteron @ 10/3/2014, 14:36)

Nessuna parentela col Gunnar Andersson Campione d'Europa 1958 e 1963?

CITAZIONE (GMiranda1989 @ 6/6/2015, 01:28)

Hi, good work as usual!
You should consider this: Fiorio didn't chose Ericsson to replace Toivonen (!!) because he was scandinavian but, Cesare had said it in many interviews, because Mikael was considered a Gr.A expert...He has chosen Ericsson thinking to the coming period of developement on Delta 4WD.
But Fiorio was a little disappointed when he discovered that Ericsson was not so good on S4..and he kept him in Lancia's team only as a support for the main drivers...

In NZ Salonen didn't crash...he was struck out of a SS by a "mad" japanese rally driver who didn't stay in the right side of the road!
At 1000 Lakes Ericsson was outclassed by Grundel, who didn't know very well the car, and at RAC, before engine problems, he hit a tree when he was fighting for 1st place against Salonen.

I didn't knew almost all of the info.... the reports on Portuguese magazine are scarce so I used mainly Duke videos. About 1986, why not choose Tabaton or Cerrato? That's why I thought he may have been chosen as he was a Scandinavian

A lot of us are wondering why Fiorio didn't chose Cerrato (Tabaton was not so good)...apparently there's not an answer..
